Vom Badeurlaub \u00fcber einen St\u00e4dtetrip bis hin zur Aktivreise mit Outdoor-Aktivit\u00e4ten l\u00e4sst sich die Region erkunden &#8211; je nach pers\u00f6nlichem Geschmack und individuellem Interesse. Wandern, Radfahren, Kanutouren oder Surfen &#8211; \u00a0in Nouvelle-Aquitaine ist f\u00fcr Outdoor-Liebhaber vieles m\u00f6glich. Von Mannheim fahre ich mit ICE, TGV und TER \u00fcber Paris und Bordeaux bis an den Atlantik nach Soulac-sur-Mer. Die Fahrt dauert mit 2 Umstiegen knapp 9 Stunden. In der Region bieten sich die TER-Regionalz\u00fcge der franz\u00f6sischen Staatsbahn SNCF an. Chemin d&#8217;Amadour, wie er in Frankreich hei\u00dft. Der Amadourweg oder Amadour-Pfad ist ein Fernwanderweg mit 500 km L\u00e4nge. Insgesamt 21 Etappen kann man erwandern, aber auch einzelne Abschnitte oder Teilstrecken des ausgewiesenen und durchweg beschilderten Wanderweges erlaufen. Der Startpunkt des Wanderweges ist die sehenswerte romanische Basilika Notre-Dame-de-la-Fin-des-Terres in Soulac-sur-Mer, die zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe &#8222;Jakobsweg in Frankreich&#8220; geh\u00f6rt. Der \u00dcberlieferung nach geht sie auf die Legende der Sainte-V\u00e9ronique zur\u00fcck. Von der Basilika aus sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fu\u00df bis zur wundersch\u00f6nen Strandpromenade der Gemeinde. Als das Baden im Meer in Mode kam und Kurg\u00e4ste aus Bordeaux mit dem Zug an den Atlantik reisten, begann man Villen im maurischen Stil zu erbauen. Heute sind die Schmuckst\u00fccke meist umfangreich saniert, erstrahlen in ihrer vollen Bl\u00fcte und machen den Charme des K\u00fcstenortes aus. Die Etappe f\u00fchrt durch den regionalen Naturpark M\u00e9doc, f\u00fcr den M\u00e9doc Atlantique &#8211; der Eden Aquitains &#8211; bekannt ist. Er grenzt an die Gironde-M\u00fcndung und erstreckt sich von Bordeaux bis zur Pointe de Grave. Man kann die Fischer dabei beobachten, wie sie ihr Netz ins Wasser hinunterlassen und auf einen guten Fang hoffen. Seit dem Mittelalter soll es die Fischerei mit den H\u00fctten hier schon geben. Die <a href=\"https:\/\/labrasseriedelaplage.com\">Brasserie de la Plage<\/a> befindet sich direkt an der Strandpromenade, inklusive Beach-Feeling. Mein Tipp ist der Salade Sengiri mit Lachs und Meeresfr\u00fcchten (Foto oben). Das <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medoc-atlantique.de\/sit\/restaurant-le-lb-7099017\/\">Le LB<\/a> im Stadtzentrum ist nur wenige Schritte von der Strandpromenade entfernt. Dort gibt es ebenfalls frische Speisen aus regionalen Zutaten. Es bietet gem\u00fctliche Zimmer und ist nur wenige Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum und knapp 10 min vom Bahnhof entfernt. Richard und seine Familie haben die \u00f6ffentlichen R\u00e4ume im Hotel und den Garten im Vintage-Stil gestaltet, inklusive Plattenspieler mit John-Lennon-Longplayer in Vinyl. Das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck kann man drau\u00dfen auf der Terrasse bei den ersten Sonnenstrahlen genie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<p>Weitere n\u00fctzliche Tipps gibt es auf der offiziellen Website von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medoc-atlantique.de\">M\u00e9doc Atlantique<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Die_Region_Dordogne_Perigord\"><\/span>Die Region Dordogne P\u00e9rigord<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Von Soulac-sur-Mer in M\u00e9doc Atlantique fahre ich mit dem Zug \u00fcber Bordeaux in die Region Dordogne P\u00e9rigord, die weiter \u00f6stlich liegt und ebenfalls zu Nouvelle-Aquitaine geh\u00f6rt. Die TER-Regionalz\u00fcge der franz\u00f6sischen Staatsbahn SNCF verkehren regelm\u00e4\u00dfig und die Bahnstrecke f\u00fchrt &#8211; mit gewissen Abweichungen &#8211; in etwa entlang der Strecke vom Amadourweg. Durch die Bahnfahrt nach Osten kann ich den Wanderweg abk\u00fcrzen und lerne dadurch eine weitere Region kennen. Der beschauliche Ort mit dem Platz in der Ortsmitte ist die kleinste Bastide in der Region. Bastiden werden die St\u00e4dte und Gemeinden im S\u00fcdwesten Frankreichs (Nouvelle-Aquitaine und Okzitanien) genannt, die im Mittelalter gegr\u00fcndet wurden und einen zentralen Marktplatz haben, h\u00e4ufig ums\u00e4umt mit Arkadeng\u00e4ngen. Wobei Begleitung nicht die richtige Bezeichnung ist, vielmehr weist er mir den Weg und l\u00e4uft stets im Abstand von 20 bis 30 Metern vor mir. Deshalb wandere ich auch einen verk\u00fcrzten Abschnitt. Der Wanderweg ist hier zum Gl\u00fcck \u00fcberwiegend schattig und so laufen der Hund und ich durch die gr\u00fcne Natur und ein sch\u00f6nes Waldst\u00fcck in Richtung Nordosten. Vor einem Caf\u00e9 am zentralen Platz bleibt der Hund stehen und ich erfahre von einem Mitarbeiter, dass er hier bekannt ist. Sein Besitzer oder ein Mitarbeiter aus seiner Familie arbeitet im Caf\u00e9. Das freut mich, denn nun wei\u00df ich, dass er hier gut aufgehoben ist und auch wieder zur\u00fcck zum Ausgangspunkt kommt. Mich hat der Hund, von dem ich mir leider den Namen nicht gemerkt habe, mit seinem umsichtigen Verhalten beeindruckt. Ich danke ihm mit Streicheln und verabschiede mich. Sie wurde 1115 gegr\u00fcndet und weist romanische und gotische Baustile auf. \u00dcber viele Jahrhunderte war sie ein wichtiger Wallfahrtsort, denn hier soll es ein Leintuch gegeben haben, in dem Jesus Christus nach seinem Tod eingewickelt war. Das Zisterzienser-Kloster liegt auf dem Jakobsweg und geh\u00f6rt heute zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Der Kreuzgang wurde umfangreich saniert und ist ein architektonisches Meisterwerk. Die Auberge ist beliebt bei Wanderern, Pilgern und Reisenden. Das mittelalterliche Belv\u00e8s in der Kulturregion des P\u00e9rigord liegt auf einem Felsvorsprung \u00fcber dem Nauze-Tal in 160 Metern H\u00f6he. Charmante Gassen gruppieren sich rund um den Place d&#8217;Armes mit der Markthalle. Der Amadourweg verl\u00e4uft s\u00fcdlich der Dordogne durch eine h\u00fcgelige Landschaft, vorbei an Wiesen und Felden und immer wieder auch durch kleine Waldst\u00fccke. Schon von weitem sieht man das Ch\u00e2teau des Milandes, in dem die S\u00e4ngerin und T\u00e4nzerin Josephine Baker gelebt hat. Auf einem Rundgang durch das Schloss kann man in ihr Leben eintauchen. Es thront hoch \u00fcber dem Zusammenfluss von Dordogne und C\u00e9ou, z\u00e4hlt ebenfalls zu den &#8222;Sch\u00f6nsten D\u00f6rfern Frankreichs&#8220; und von der Festung bis hinunter zur Picknickstelle am Fluss bei der Br\u00fccke ist es nur einen Katzensprung. Auf dem Abschnitt zwischen dem Ch\u00e2teau des Milandes und Castelnaud-la-Chapelle bietet sich dieser an, denn Beynac liegt rund 3 km n\u00f6rdlich vom Weg. Wundersch\u00f6n ist die Lage am Fluss, der Ort mit dem Ch\u00e2teau de Beynac schmiegt sich malerisch an die Felsen. Den besten Blick hat man vom &#8222;Balkon&#8220; bzw. der Promenade am Esplanade de la Barre. Die &#8222;Stadt der Kunst und Geschichte&#8220; ist einzigartig, sie h\u00e4lt den Rekord f\u00fcr die h\u00f6chste Dichte an denkmalgesch\u00fctzten Geb\u00e4uden in Frankreich &#8211; insgesamt \u00fcber 70 Bauwerke im historischen Stadtkern. Eine weitere Besonderheit im Zentrum ist die gotische Sainte-Marie-Kirche, die vom Architekten Jean Nouvel in einen \u00fcberdachten Markt mit einem m\u00e4chtigen Tor umgewandelt wurde. Ich bummle durch die engen Gassen, entdecke neue Details an Geb\u00e4uden, die ich tags\u00fcber nicht wahrgenommen habe und besuche erneut den Marktplatz. Sch\u00f6n ist der gem\u00fctliche Innenhof des Restaurants. Fein habe ich auch im <a href=\"https:\/\/lebistrodeloctroi.fr\">Le Bistro de l&#8217;Octroi<\/a> am zweiten Abend gegessen. Es bietet gem\u00fctliche Zimmer, einen idyllischen Innenhof und ein sch\u00f6nes Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck. Das familiengef\u00fchrte Hotel ist eine Oase der Ruhe, obwohl es mitten in der Stadt liegt, und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um Sarlat zu Fu\u00df zu erkunden. Auch abends ist man schnell am zentralen Marktplatz und kann noch auf ein Glas Wein in einer der Bars einkehren.<\/p>\n<p>Weitere n\u00fctzliche Tipps gibt es auf der offiziellen Website von <a href=\"https:\/\/de.sarlat-tourisme.com\">Sarlat-la-Can\u00e9da<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Von_Sarlat_nach_Rocamadour\"><\/span>Von Sarlat nach Rocamadour<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Weil Sarlat nicht direkt am Amadourweg liegt, muss man in Groj\u00e9lac nach Norden abbiegen (ca. 10 km), wenn man die Stadt besuchen m\u00f6chte. Von Sarlat kann man anschlie\u00dfend nach Carlux wandern (ebenfalls ca. 10 km) und erreicht dann wieder den Amadourweg. Von Carlux ist es nicht mehr weit bis Rocamadour, dem Zielort des Wanderweges im D\u00e9partement Lot. Rocamadour ist ein bekannter Wallfahrtsort, der nach dem Heiligen Amadour benannt ist. Weltber\u00fchmt f\u00fcr sein Weinbaugebiet, lohnt sich Bordeaux unbedingt f\u00fcr einen Besuch. Die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Stadt in der Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine liegt an der Garonne rund 45 km vom Atlantik entfernt. Wir besuchen den imposanten Place de la Bourse mit dem Miroir d&#8217;eau (ohne Wasserfl\u00e4che) und die Op\u00e9ra National de Bordaux (Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre) mit den hohen S\u00e4ulen. Beeindruckend sind auch die Notre-Dame-Kirche, die Basilika Saint-Michel und die Kathedrale Saint Andr\u00e9 mit dem separaten Kirchturm. Eine Tafel auf dem Platz vor der Kirche weist auf den Jakobsweg hin, an dem Bordeaux liegt. Aus Parkfl\u00e4chen wurden Fu\u00dfg\u00e4ngerbereiche, Pl\u00e4tze sind nun verkehrsberuhigt, mit Caf\u00e9s, Sitzgelegenheiten und Gr\u00fcnfl\u00e4chen. Die Metropole hat einen gute Atmosph\u00e4re, eine Mischung aus lebendiger Gesch\u00e4ftigkeit und entspanntem Lebensgef\u00fchl. Dort gibt es u.a. auch Tipps, wie man <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nouvelle-aquitaine-tourisme.com\/de\/praktische-infos\/anreise-mit-dem-zug\">mit dem Zug anreisen<\/a> und vor Ort unterwegs sein kann.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Die_Legende_von_Amadour\"><\/span>Die Legende von Amadour<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Der Heilige Amadour verl\u00e4sst einst mit seiner Frau V\u00e9ronique Pal\u00e4stina und landet an der Atlantikk\u00fcste des M\u00e9doc bei Soulac-sur-Mer. Sie verbreiten den christlichen Glauben auf der Halbinsel bis nach Bordeaux und bringen die Evangelisation voran. Als V\u00e9ronique stirbt, verl\u00e4sst Amadour Soulac-sur-Mer und wandert nach Osten. Er lebt dort als Einsiedler und widmet sich dem Gebet. Der Ort wird sp\u00e4ter nach ihm benannt (Rocamadour) und zu einem bekannten Wallfahrtsort. Der Amadourweg verbindet Soulac-sur-Mer und Rocamadour miteinander.
