Das satte Gr\u00fcn des Buchumschlags fiel mir im Kulturkaufhaus Dussmann in Berlin, einer meiner absoluten Lieblingsorte, sofort ins Auge. Der Titel dann als N\u00e4chstes. Und wer will im Urlaub eigentlich nicht Neuland f\u00fcr sich entdecken, jenseits der ausgetretenen Touristenpfade?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>Dies ist kein typischer Reisef\u00fchrer, eher eine Mischung aus Bildband mit Empfehlungen und Vorschl\u00e4gen, denn nicht zuletzt das Format ist f\u00fcr eine Reise &#8211; sofern man nicht mit dem Auto unterwegs ist &#8211; eher unpraktisch. Im Buch werden zahlreiche St\u00e4dte in Deutschland auf jeweils vier Seiten vorgestellt. Das Highlight mit farbenfrohen Bildern auf einer Doppelseite mit kleinem Teaser und auf der n\u00e4chsten Doppelseite folgen dann jeweils Informationen zu vier weiteren Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten der Stadt. Drei ausgew\u00e4hlte Hotels und eine kleine \u00dcbersichtskarte mit Markierungen f\u00fcr die vorgestellten Hotels und Must-Sees. Dazu gibt es ein wesentlich reise-tauglicheres Heftchen mit Ausgeh-, Essens- und Shopping-Tipps zu den jeweiligen St\u00e4dten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>St\u00e4dtereisen in Deutschland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vermutlich sind Ziele wie die Museumsinsel und der Mauerpark in Berlin, der Landschaftspark Nord sowie die Hafencity in Hamburg kein &#8222;Neuland&#8220; mehr&#8230; diese Ecken hat der Reisende bereits f\u00fcr sich entdeckt.\u00a0Dennoch gibt es im Buch gen\u00fcgend Anregungen f\u00fcr ungew\u00f6hnliche Ziele und Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten in Deutschland. Und die machen Spass und Lust auf mehr.\u00a0So zum Beispiel die Skulptur &#8222;Tiger &amp; Turtle&#8220; in Duisburg, die ich gleich mal aufgrund der Buchempfehlung besucht habe. Diese ist wie eine Achterbahn konstruiert und begehbar\u2026 naja, bis auf den Looping. Auf einem H\u00fcgel gelegen hat man eine wunderbare Aussicht auf Duisburg und den Ruhrpott. Die Skulptur selbst bietet auch tolle Motive f\u00fcr ungew\u00f6hnliche Bilder. Das war tats\u00e4chlich Neuland f\u00fcr mich &#8211; und ein super Tipp.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Neue St\u00e4dte entdecken<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Insgesamt finde ich das Buch klasse! Es bezaubert durch herrliche Bilder, ansprechende Texte und tolle Tipps. Trotz mehrerer bekannter Highlights sind auch einige unbekanntere Reise-St\u00e4dte vertreten, beispielsweise Delmenhorst, Gro\u00dfalmerode und Peenem\u00fcnde. Und selbst bei einigen typischen Touristenhochburgen wie Leipzig, Chemnitz und Braunschweig hat das Buch Vorschl\u00e4ge, die tats\u00e4chlich jenseits von Goethe und Gotik liegen.<\/p>\n<p>Ob Goethe wohl die Spinnerei in Leipzig (Tipp 21) besucht hat?
