Hier hat man die Wahl, ob man beispielsweise im Park, mit Meerblick, in einer historischen Villa oder auf einer der vielen Inseln speisen m\u00f6chte.<\/p>\n<p>Finnlands K\u00fcche ist bodenst\u00e4ndig und ehrlich, womit sie definitiv zu den Finnen passt. Beim Zubereiten der Speisen konzentriert man sich gerne auf das Wesentliche: Fleisch, Fisch, Kartoffeln und Brot, dazu wenige Gew\u00fcrze, aber diese gezielt eingesetzt wie beispielsweise Piment (Nelkenpfeffer). Beliebt sind Elch, Renntier, R\u00e4ucherlachs und Suppen in verschiedenen Variationen. Typisch f\u00fcr finnische Gerichte sind auch Pilze und Rote Beete, sowie Beeren &#8211; letztere vor allem bei S\u00fc\u00dfspeisen.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend man noch heute gerne traditionelle Gerichte kocht, werden diese in den Restaurants in Helsinki vorwiegend modern interpretiert. Das Thema Nachhaltigkeit, welches in Finnland grunds\u00e4tzlich eine wichtige Bedeutung hat, wird auch in den Bereichen K\u00fcche, Kochen und Gastronomie umgesetzt.<\/p>\n<p>Mit Englisch kommt man in Helsinki problemlos zurecht, f\u00fcr den Restaurant-Besuch sollte man zumindest das finnische Wort &#8222;Kiitos&#8220; (&#8222;Danke&#8220;) kennen. Das Thema Nachhaltigkeit zieht sich hier durch das gesamte Konzept des Gastro-Bereiches. Im 1. Kerros hat man definitiv den \u00dcberblick, denn es befindet sich im 10. Stock (daher der Name) des Hotels Vaakuna. Durch die zentrale Lage schaut man auf den Lasipalatsinaukio-Platz und bis zum Kamppi-Viertel. Damit z\u00e4hlt es zu den Top-Gastro-Adressen in Helsinki, was die Aussicht betrifft. Insgesamt setzt man im Restaurant ganz auf die Klassik dieses Hauses, gibt den Speisen aber eine moderne Note. Das 10. Das Restaurant und Gesch\u00e4ft bietet frische, leckere Fischgerichte &#8211; auch zum Mitnehmen. In der Mitte des Tukkutorin Kala Oy steht ein uriges Fischerboot aus Holz, an dem man essen kann. Der Funktionsbau aus den 1930er Jahren z\u00e4hlt zu den architektonischen Klassikern der finnischen Hauptstadt. Heute sind hier u.a. Kunst &amp; Kultur (Amos Rex), Caf\u00e9s, Restaurants und Gesch\u00e4fte untergebracht. Das Restaurant ist im 1. In einem Raum gibt es ein sehenswertes Deckenfresko und im Sommer kann man auf der Veranda sitzen. Wer man in dieser Villa speist, hat man fast den Eindruck, man w\u00e4re zu einem privaten Essen eingeladen. Die Kombination aus Fisch, Kartoffeln, Chips, Tintenfisch und Wei\u00dfwein bei meinem Besuch war lecker und sehr schmackhaft. Das nette, junge Gastro-Team sorgt f\u00fcr eine entspannte Stimmung in der Villa und daf\u00fcr, dass sich die G\u00e4ste hier wohlf\u00fchlen. Das 4-Sterne-Hotel im Art Nouveau Stil hat sehr sch\u00f6ne Zimmer, ein tolles Fr\u00fchst\u00fccksb\u00fcffet und ein gutes Restaurant. Von meinem Zimmer aus konnte ich den Uhrturm vom Bahnhof sehen, der abends angestrahlt ist. Das moderne Hotel in einem historischen Geb\u00e4ude hat sehr sch\u00f6ne Zimmer im Loft-Stil, ein tolles Fr\u00fchst\u00fccksb\u00fcffet und ein gutes Restaurant.
