Land, Region, Ort: India, West Bengal, District Nadia Kurzbeschreibung: Socio economic development of rural poor weavers of Fulia and surrounding villages through implement sustainable development programs. Family Counselling Centre: Since 2001, FSDO is implementing Family Couselling Centre Project, funded by West Bengal Social Welfare Board and Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi, Government of India providing assistance to exploited women. School Project: Since 2005, FSDO is implementing Primary School Project, funded by the local community. Total role strength is 100 at present. Charitable Dispensary: Since 2005, FSDO is implementing Charitable Dispensary Project, funded by the local community. FSDO is providing free medicine to local people specially women and children. Ambulance Service: Since 2005, FSDO is implementing emergency ambulance service and providing referral service to women and children. The ambulance has funded by Local Government. Girl Child Education (school): We have started a Primary School in Malipota Village with the help of World Fit For Children, Canada. 50 rural poor children have admitted in Class I standard. 80% of them are girl child. Benötigte Berufsgruppe: We are seeking friend volunteers of Europe who will work with FSDO people to implement the above mentioned projects and help FSDO to raise necessary resources (financial, technical and marketing). Sprachkenntnisse: English Unterkunft, Verpflegung: Volunteers can stay in the community at low cost or stay in the hotel. Duration of volunteers stay: 7 days to 15 days or longer.
